2008 Care Package

FORT BELVIOR,  VA--The Kirk Group is pleased to be part of Operation USO Care Package stuffing parties.   "We're very proud to continue to serve by supporting the USO stuff care packages for our troops," said Kirk Phillips, Executive Director.  "We started volunteering when I was still in the Air Force at the Pentagon and I clearly remember getting one handed to me at the Baltimore International Airport when I deployed to Afghanistan.   We've continued volunteering to help give our troops a little extra for their service to our great nation."

Care packages include a personalized message of support from the donor, a prepaid international phone card, playing cards, reading materials, travel size toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, sun block, hand sanitizer, tooth paste, tooth brush, sunscreen), snacks and other requested and needed items.   Since 2003, over 1.5 million care packages have been given to troops deploying to Afghanistan, Iraq and other overseas locations.

2009 Valero Texas Open

SAN ANTONIO, TX—The Kirk Group is proud to announce its partnership with the Military Warriors Support Foundation (MWSF), and Golf San Antonio to honor and host service members who are recovering from wounds, illnesses or injuries acquired in Iraq and Afghanistan at this year’s Valero Texas Open, May 14-17, 2009, at the Westin La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, Texas.
